About us
ParkatmyHouse already rents out the spots of more than 25,000 property owners in the UK and has made them over $5m since we started.
When founder Anthony Eskinazi was studying at Berkeley, he visited the AT&T stadium in San Francisco to see the Giants play. As any sports fan knows, trying to find a spot near a stadium on game day is usually a futile exercise! So, when he saw an empty driveway a stone's throw away from the stadium, he realised that there was a great opportunity for both homeowners and drivers if only they could find a way of making contact. The idea for Parkatmyhouse was born!
Now, with its US launch, ParkatmyHouse is returning to the country that inspired it with the backing of BMW's new US venture capital fund!
In the UK, our property owners have received nearly 100,000 reviews with an incredible 98.5% of them being 4 or 5 out of 5 stars. We're sure you'll love our service as we aim to do even better here in the US.
Once we have the right balance of property owners and drivers signed up to make it a great experience for all, we'll go live with the service and you can start making money from your spot. In the meantime, if you have friends with a vacant spot for all or part of the time or friends who are drivers, please let them know so we can be up and running even sooner!
How it Works
Now, more than ever, there are millions of property owners who would love an unexpected second income.
At the same time, parking is as big a nightmare as ever: whether it's by that busy station or near a sports stadium, paying over close to the airport, by a sidewalk where it can be vandalised, or in a high-crime parking garage.
We're a match-making service for property owners and drivers. Simple. We manage the whole process seamlessly through our website. If you’re a driver you can compare a range of parking spots and book the cheapest and most convenient.
If you're a property owner you can list your spot for rent, see your bookings and check your earnings. But it's not just homeowners who benefit from ParkatmyHouse. We rent out spots on behalf of anyone who has a space to fill, from parking lots to malls and churches to synagogues.
If you know drivers who need a solution to their parking problems, please tell them about ParkatmyHouse and if you know anyone who ever has a vacant parking spot, please let them know how much their driveway is worth!

FAQ
What is ParkatmyHouse?
Can't you guess? We're a service trying to take on one of the world's most frustrating problems, parking. We let property owners (residential and commercial) rent out their private parking spots to drivers in need of a conveneient (and often cheaper) place to park.
The entire process is managed through our website providing a secure environment to accept and pay for parking space bookings. Please read our about us section for some background on the company.
Why should I sign up?
Plenty of reasons! The main ones are that drivers will be able to find a more convenient and affordable parking spot close to where they need to go and property owners have a new opportunity to make money from that area of land they walk on every day.
Property owners in the UK have made over $5 million through us. They have further benefited from the added feeling of security that having a car in an empty driveway brings. Our launch in the US has already got off to a flying start. We'd love to have you on board.
Drivers can also save substantial sums - around 40% - by comparison with metered parking and parking garages. They also often feel their car is more secure on private property than on the street or in a public lot. Drivers also save time and gas which they'd use circling to find an unbooked spot.
How come you're so confident I'll enjoy this service?
We've collected over 70,000 user reviews in the UK with 98.4% of them being either 4 or 5 stars. We aim to do even better here in the US.
Sounds great! When is the service going live?
We need to make sure that there is a good balance of parking spots and drivers looking to park before we're ready to flick the switch. We anticipate this taking 3 - 6 weeks depending on the location.
Rest assured, we'll keep you fully up to date on when it is going live in your area.
Will ParkatmyHouse be available across the USA?
Absolutely. If you have a spot to rent, you can list it in moments. And you can also sign up if you're a driver who is sick of paying through the nose for parking or struggling to find it all.

Sure, just click here.
Renting out your Parking Spot
Is it free to list my spot?
It is 100% free to list your spot. We only make money when you also make money by renting out it out.
How much can I earn?
The rental value of parking spots varies greatly depending on the city and the proximity to public amenities such as train stations and music and sports venues.
You can use our quick and easy tool to get an estimate of what you could be earning in a year.
I’ve got a spot but it’s not at a house. Can I still list it?
For sure. We list spots in churches, parking garages, malls and more.
How does pricing work?
We recommend a fair price for you to earn from your spot. We ensure this is priced at a level which will maximise your earnings while being sufficiently attractive to drivers.
I want to earn more. Can I change the recommended price?
You certainly can. But be aware that if you’re too greedy, you will see fewer or no bookings - our recommended prices are intended to maximise your earnings.
How much do you take from the price I agree to receive?
Nothing, you will receive 100% of what you agree to receive. If you agree to a recommended price or set your own, you will receive that amount in full on completion of the booking.
So how do you make your money?
We deduct a small commission on the parking spot’s rental fees that we collect - 15% including sales tax but we will ensure that we set the price on your behalf so that you receive the agreed amount in full.
How do I pay ParkatmyHouse their commission?
We collect payment of the parking spot rental fees from the Driver on your behalf, we will deduct our commission from that amount and pay the remaining sum into your PayPal account.
How do I get my money?
On the completion of the booking, the money will be transferred into your PayPal account.
Does my space have to be available all the time?
No - so long as you haven’t set up your parking spot to receive Instant Bookings.
Assuming you’re not offering Instant Bookings, you may login and change the availability of your spot using a calendar. You may offer your spot for any length of time from 30 minutes to a year.
What are Instant Bookings?
Instant Bookings allow drivers to confirm and book a parking spot without waiting for the approval of the owner of that parking spot. If you set up your spot as Instant Bookings, you will receive more bookings due to the greater convenience for drivers.
Don’t worry, we’ll explain more about how you can set up your spot once the site goes live.
Do I have to pay tax on any income I receive?
In the event that property-owners collect income through renting out their driveway to a third party, they must declare that income to the IRS.
ParkatmyHouse advises homeowners to seek advice regarding their personal fiscal liability.
Do I have to sign any contracts?
Before accepting your first booking, you will have to accept our Parking Spot Owner Agreement.
When you accept bookings, you enter into a contractual relationship with the driver (and not ParkatmyHouse) through our Parking Spot Rental Agreement.
The Parking Spot Owner Agreement and Parking Spot Rental Agreement will be made available at the time of booking.
What happens if a driver injures himself on my property?
In over 5 years of operations in the UK with over 150,000 users, we have yet to have a driver injure him or herself. That said, we take nothing for granted and aim to offer general liability cover as standard to give you complete peace of mind when a third party is on your property. ParkatmyHouse excludes all liability for any claims as a result of your use of our service.
What happens if a driver damages my property?
ParkatmyHouse accepts no liability for any property damage arising as a result of you renting out a parking spot. We advise you to check that your Home or Business Insurance covers the renting of your spot with your insurance carrier or arrange for the appropriate insurance if applicable.
Parking in someone else's spot
What kind of parking spots can I park at?
We list a variety of private parking spots including driveways and private garages. Most will be at people’s houses but we’re also listing spots in churches, synagogues and malls.
Each space clearly shows the kind of spot it is through a Google Streetview image and many will also show an additional photo of the spot.
We also list all the relevant features that a spot might have such as CCTV, security lighting and other relevant information such as width restrictions.
How do I find a parking spot?
Once the service goes live, you simply search for where you want to park using the address or full zip code of your final destination.
You can then see a list of available parking spots and choose between them by comparing their cost, location and features (such as whether it is a driveway or secure garage).
You can also read reviews of the spot by previous drivers who have used it.
How do I book a spot?
If a spot accepts Instant Bookings, it means that you can book and pay for it immediately.
If the spot is not Instant Bookings, you'l have to enquire with the owner. When they approve the time of the booking, you can then book and pay for the spot.
How much does it cost to rent a parking spot?
As with parking in parking lots, that depends on how long you’ll be parked for and the demand for parking in that part of town.
Nonetheless, we set our recommended prices at approximately 40% below the nearest public parking lot so you can be certain you’re getting a parking bargain!
How do I pay for a parking spot?
You can pay with your credit card or through your PayPal account.
Is it safe to park on a stranger’s land for both me and my vehicle?
We believe that you and your vehicle are far safer when parking on private property than beside a sidewalk or in a parking garage, many of which are high-crime. However, you park at your own risk and ParkatmyHouse makes no warranties as to the parking spot or its owner, nor accepts any liability whatsoever for any harm to your person or vehicle as a result of using our service.
ParkatmyHouse is also looking to provide a deductibles waiver as standard in the very unlikely event that your car is damaged while parked at a ParkatmyHouse spot. We also hope to provide a general liability policy for home owners in the even more unlikely event that you are injured while at a ParkatmyHouse property.
Do I have to sign any contract?
When you accept bookings, you enter into a contractual relationship with the property owner (and not ParkatmyHouse) through our Parking Spot Rental Agreement.
And finally...
